Scope of standard This method covers obtaining, preparing, and testing (1) cores drilled from concrete for length or compressive or splitting tensile strength determinations; and (2) beams sawed from concrete for flexural strength determinations. The values stated in SI units are to be regarded as the standard. This standard does not purport to address safety problems associated with its use. It is the responsibility of the user of this standard to establish appropriate safety and health practices and determine the applicability of regulatory limitations prior to use. |
