Phạm vi áp dụng Scope of standard This fracture control plan: assigns responsibility for specifying which, if any, steel bridge member or member component falls in the category of "fracture critical"; requires that "fracture critical" members or member components be fabricated by plants with personnel, organization, experience, procedures, knowledge, and equipment capable of producing quality workmanship; requires that all Welding Inspectors have demonstrated their competency to assure that "fracture critical" members or member components are in compliance with this plan; requires that all nondestructive testing personnel have demonstrated their competency to assure that "fracture critical" members or member components are in compliance with this plan; specifies material toughness values for fracture critical members or member components; specifies requirements in addition to AASHTO Standard Specifications for Welding of Structural Steel Highway Bridges.
