Phạm vi áp dụng / Scope of standard

The methods outlined in this standard for classifying patron
injuries are independent of the reporting requirements of insurance
carriers which may provide patron injury claim service to an
establishment. Accidents resulting only in property damage without
involving a chargeable injury are not included in the scope of this
standard.

Purpose. The purpose of this standard is to
provide a practical and uniform method for recording and measuring
frequency and cost of injuries involving patrons or persons not
employed by the reporting facility.
