Scope of standard 1.1 This specification covers the packaging, identification, shipment, and storage of lock-strip gaskets and components that comply with Specification C542 and that are used in building walls that are not more than 15° from a vertical plane. 1.2 This international standard was developed in accordance with internationally recognized principles on standardization established in the Decision on Principles for the Development of International Standards, Guides and Recommendations issued by the World Trade Organization Technical Barriers to Trade (TBT) Committee.
