Scope of standard 1.1 This test method describes a method to evaluate a characteristic of raw rubber or unvulcanized rubber compounds, or both, that is designated as tensile green strength. This special strength property for uncured rubbers is an important processing performance attribute in rubber product manufacturing.1.2 This standard does not purport to address all of the safety concerns, if any, associated with its use.
