Scope of standard 1.1 This guide identifies statistical procedures for use in developing new test methods or revising or evaluating existing test methods, or both. 1.2 This guide also cites statistical procedures especially useful in the application of test methods. 1.3 This international standard was developed in accordance with internationally recognized principles on standardization established in the Decision on Principles for the Development of International Standards, Guides and Recommendations issued by the World Trade Organization Technical Barriers to Trade (TBT) Committee.
