Scope of standard This standard specifies minimum safety requirements for the performance of combined buoyancy and rescue devices. This standard is applicable to combined buoyancy and rescue devices for use by divers as defined in 3.1. This European Standard does not apply to buoyancy compensators, which are standardized in prEN 1809.
