Scope of standard This sectional specification relates to EN 50117-1: Generic Specification for Coaxial Cables, and should be read in conjunction with this generic standard. This specification applies to outdoor drop cables for use in cabled distribution systems operating at temperature between 40 °C and +70 °C 1) and at frequencies between 5 MHz and 1 000 MHz and complying with the requirements of EN 50083.
