Scope of standard JIS C 8957:2019 specifies the requirements for the crystalline silicon photovoltaic modules and arrays installed on a flat roof or a sloped roof, which are used in the photovoltaic power generating system with the output of less than 50 kW. This Standard defines the necessary items to ensure the constructional and electric interrelationship of photovoltaic modules and arrays.
