Scope of standard 1.1 This method covers the preparation of cylindrical specimens of bituminous paving mixture suitable for dynamic modulus tests. The method is intended for dense-graded bituminous concrete mixtures containing aggregate up to 1 in. (25.4 mm) maximum size. 1.2 The values stated in inch-pound units are the standard. The values in parentheses are for information only. 1.3 This standard does not purport to address all of the safety problems, if any, associated with its use.
